Known For:

Being an intimidate lounge, expensive tables, the in-crowd hang-outs on Wednesday and Friday. Hip. Trendy. Surprising.

Atmosphere:
Where casual style and fashionistas meet - Hip and stylish, the guests of Modern have very individualistic tastes.  Attire varies from expensive jeans paired with vintage T-shirts, to the all-out-glam.  This is a place where the relaxed and laid back come to play and if you hit a few Wednesday's in a row - you'll start to believe there is assigned seating, the following is that loyal.

Experience:
You may be discouraged by the long line out front, but tough it out. There is a high demand for this trendy and intimate underground (literally) space. It is especially well-known for its midweek parties; weeknights get rock-stars in the city waiting for concert night and Wednesday at Modern has always drawn celebrities and a very international crowd. 


Scene Factor:
Wednesdays and Fridays with a Georgtown crowd on Thursday and Saturday.

Service:
The bar is friendly and efficient, and always packed after 12 PM - so show patience.

Visual:
Engaging. The first thing you notice when you enter is the sunken circular bar which allows patrons to order drinks from any angle. The décor is sleek and retro. The mood is set by the warm glow of dim mood lighting. The dance floor is always packed and the talented DJs are known for keeping the crowd full of energy right till last call.  Tables are generous in size and comfy.

 One of the most consistently exciting crowds; fun bar-staff; intimate dance floor where everyone parties like a Rock Star.

Why you will go:
Any club on a Wednesday that consistently sells out its thousand dollar tables is definitely worth a look; the promoters keep the crowd trendy and very A-List while giving the regulars something to keep coming back - time and again.
